I absolutely love these little Zebco ll Platinums. Fantastic little reel. Smooth and durable. Works great for Slab, I have even caught a few 5 pound channel cats with them without a problem. Great starter reel for kids or ultralight gear for the experienced fisherman. The absolute best thing about these is the price. You can keep two or 3 of these on hand for what you pay for some reels that have similar performance. If you drop it in your boat or on riprap, it is durable enough to take the beating unlike little spinners where you bend the bail and its junk. If you lose it, it is cheap to replace. Of course there are better performance reels out there, but as far as more bang for your buck goes, you can’t go wrong with these little Zebco 11PL’s.
